1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Hatch-Up (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including students seeking internships, organisations posting opportunities, and visitors.
2. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to the Hatch-Up website and all related services
- “Student” refers to users seeking internship opportunities
- “Organisation” refers to companies or startups posting internship opportunities
- “Content” refers to all information, text, graphics, and materials uploaded or shared on the Platform
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Student Services and Payment
Free Services
Students may create an account and browse internship previews at no cost.
Premium Access
To access full internship details and submit applications, students must pay a one-time fee of €19.99 (including VAT).
- Payment is processed securely through Mollie
- Upon payment, students receive unlimited access to internship details and applications
- Access does not expire as long as the account remains active
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee if you have not submitted any applications. To request a refund, contact us at support@hatch-up.nl. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other accounts
- Use automated systems or bots to access the Platform
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
- Share your account credentials with others
6. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (CV, profile information, cover letters). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and share it with organisations as necessary to provide our services.
Platform Content
All Platform content, including logos, designs, text, and software, is owned by Hatch-Up or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
7. Organisation Terms
Organisations using the Platform agree to:
- Post accurate and complete internship information
- Comply with all applicable employment and labor laws
- Not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Respond to applicants in a timely and professional manner
- Use student data only for recruitment purposes
8. Disclaimers
No Guarantee of Employment: Hatch-Up is a platform connecting students with organisations. We do not guarantee that using the Platform will result in an internship or employment.
Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of internship postings or organisation profiles. Users should conduct their own due diligence.
Platform Availability: We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hatch-Up shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hatch-Up and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
